I went to town today and restocked the freezer with some meat choices. I did my best to make a list and stick to it while I shopped. Disregard the box of Twinkies on the counter. They jumped into my cart. I have a dinner menu for the next two weeks. They are all fundamental basics in my recipe repertoire but they will keep us fat and happy. I really need to keep my buying limited to short-term needs since we are on the cusp of the next move. I need to get through some sauces etc. in the fridge and only buy meat as needed. Awareness is the first step. We have enough cereal to last until we move, I went a little crazy one week at Sam's. We probably have enough juice and maybe even enough snacks. We'll need milk and bread of course but don't we always.
This is the weekend that we find out if the garage proposal gets approved by the homeowners board of construction committee or whatever. I am OPTIMISTIC and feel certain that the "deal" will be signed off on by Monday. YEAH! Now, to find that new home for us... We have all of the details for our trip in May settled so now we wait... I'm not really good at that so I will try to busy myself with sorting and purging a bit more before the packers come. Speaking of which I need to call that moving company to have them come out and do a survey of our stuff. I should write myself a note to do that.
Fred and Nic just got home from some male bonding. They hit Subway for dinner, browsed at Game Stop then his the video store. Way too much fun for me to handle. Will is spending the night at his buddy's house so we thought keeping Nic busy was a good way to avoid too much jealousy. Hope that works.
I should go fold the second to the last load of laundry. Although there will be more if I strip sheets tomorrow. I love the idea that with this house deal closer to closed we can live a bit more in the house. No showings once the signatures are on the contract; just the inspection, and he won't care if the wood floor sparkle.
G-night!

PS Happy Birthday shout out to Grandma Martin! (can not remember her first name for the life of me! I'm sure Sarah will let em know in a comment!) She turns a whopping 81 today. This lady is so neat, a sports nut when it comes to the professional teams of Indianapolis, and a great mother and grandmother. She has opened her home to me and mine many times and I am grateful for her smile and hospitality. Hope you had fun at Pat Flynn's! I just remembered, it's Marge! Happy Birthday Marge! (God I hope I'm right!)
